Apple Logo Review

The apple logo design is base on the literal meaning of the company name. The first official logo was quite different from the one being currently used. The initial logo consisted of one small apple imagery under a tree whilst the company name “Apple Computer Co” incorporated within the frame of the logo. However, this apply logo design was regarded as being too complex and complicated to be used on a mass scale and therefore, a more simpler and uncomplicated logo design was developed. The current logo has been worked on for many years. The bite in the apple of the current apple logo being used symbolized the conception of temptation as well as enticement for the customers and market consumers in general.

The initial apple logo was monochrome or black and white in color and accordingly, represented strictly business and formalness, whereas, the added rainbow colors within the current apple logo design gave the company a new perspective and portfolio. The rainbow colors in the current official apple logo also represent the apple from the tree of knowledge mentioned in the Bible pertaining to the story of Adam and Eve. This historical reference within the logo design symbolizes the quest for achieving and acquiring one’s dreams. Even though, this is not the initial motto or concept of Apple Computer Co but this concept and representation due to the innovative design of the logo helped bring business to a newer level and consumers also started considering the brand offered by Apple.
