BMW Logo Review

The BMW logo is one of the most well recognized and well known corporate logos. The logo design represents and is also based upon the Bavarian engine components which constitutes the initial company organization in the year 1917. The BMW logo colors are also the Bavarian national colors that are blue, white and black. The previous company BFW used the black rings as well as the external and the internal rings which enclose the logo design. BMW was previously this company. Many think that the propeller within the current logo design of BMW is an imagery of the rotary propeller in the year 1929. The idea of the propeller in fact is only promoted as it gives a firm image to the company and is only for there marketing for marketing reasons whereas it does not have any historical reference in the logo design.

Currently the BMW logo is not discussed because of its propeller but because of its vehicles. The BMW is mostly debated about the shinning disks, silver divides, and shades of engines as well as the bright blue gleams which may represent the sky. The propeller fact was conveniently used by BMW in 1929 as it was only recently created. However the logo is said to have been evolved from the Rapp Motorenwerke logo design which was also circular. This logo was redesigned with the white and blue colors of the Bavaria. This formed the current BMW design. The BMW logo truly represents style and simplicity.
