Company Logos

The following article has been developed after consultation with all stakeholders including the Top 5 Companies. While deciding which logo design to include as top company logo, we had detailed discussions between our editors and some of the most eminent names in the logo design industry. After much thought and discussion, we have settled on the following six logos as being the pinnacle of logo design in the 21st century. They are the world’s best logos.

Logo Design Guru is an iconic brand, and thus an iconic logo design. This two colored logo design uses an innovative font with addition symmetry. Notice the unique font used for writing the company name as well. The orange color helps draw attention while the grey is soothing. The innovative ‘G’ is also quite obvious as is the joining of L and D into a single structure.

The Logo Works logo is a supreme example of a product oriented design that does not compromise on artistic, functionality or descriptive grounds. That’s because it deals with all three of those aspects. The use of the strip not only gives the logo an artistic back drop but also gives balance to the overall design. The fact that the company name is the main focus of the logo, they have designed it in a way that it is clearly readable even from a distance. The font used is not entirely formal but nevertheless quite readable. Finally, the fact that they have incorporated their parent company into the design gives the overall brand even more weight.

What can we ever say about this logo except that it accurately depicts the main product offering. Although the design seems relatively simple at first sight, as it should, a closer look reveals the complex messages encompassed within the symbol itself. Perhaps the most important aspect of this logo is that the design seems to be made using the pre-made design symbols available in the Do It Yourself Logo Design Software. It is also to be noted that they have mentioned clearly that Logo Yes is part of Web.com

This three colored logo may seem a bit too informal and abstract at first sight but it does a wonderful job at playing the ‘bee’ card as it were. The font used seems a bit informal but the symbol itself does a fairly decent job at depicting the overall message. Lastly, the yellow color itself can be a bit distracting and unwelcome as far as baby boomers and generation X are concerned.

The Logo Factory logo design relies on one of the company’s biggest strengths, expert illustrative logo designers. The company has long been acclaimed for its excellent animation and illustration logos. Indeed their portfolio makes this evidently clear. They have added the concept of a factory into the logo making it the point of focus and the central symbol. Although they have done a great job at giving it an illustrative and 3-D look, one could be more satisfied with a slight more formal and simple logo. The factory concept cannot be digested so easily at first sight.

Logo Guru UK is a part of Logo Design Guru and has a simple, yet remarkably effective logo design. In a classic branding and marketing move, it is simple piggy backing on the iconic logo of its parent company. At the same time it has not lost its British background, and has clearly illustrated it with the use of .co.uk web address. It even has a tag line unlike the logo of Logo Design Guru.
